With this book, Caleb Miller wishes to give children and parents something to share that is equally innocent and mature. Everyone has, despite one’s age, been the mouse in someone else’s home – unwanted, unappreciated, hated – but has also been the man to someone else’s mouse – uncaring, hurtful, distant – so, because of this, everyone can relate to both parties. He has known this in his own life, and he hopes to share that feeling with everyone else. His goal for the readers is to be a mouse – and to be a home too.
